CHEFS WAREHOUSE
AT MAISON

Patrons of Chefs Warehouse are escorted on a culinary escapade of casual fine-dining, nestled amidst a refined country setting. Chef David Schneider accompanies Liam Tomlin in dishing up a contemporary set-menu for lunch or dinner. Their distinct interpretation on traditional tasting menus and small-plate sharing experiences, served over four courses.

You might like to begin with sampling our award-winning wines, whilst savouring the magnificent mountain views. Perhaps a charcuterie or cheese platter to pair. A dozen or so oysters to set the tempo.

Chefs Warehouse is an integral attribute to the estate of Maison. Where the rolling vineyards and bountiful landscape, cushioned around the ankles of the Franschhoek Mountains, lend themselves as the perfect, pacifying backdrop to your dining table.

Alongside their extraordinary kitchen team, Liam Tomlin and Chef David Schneider serve their unique blend of artisanal tapas menus, in alignment with the estate’s ethos on slow, sumptuous living. 

Marrying the award-winning wines with the extraordinary food, adding a free-roaming chicken and micro horsies into the picture, elevates the humble farmyard fairytale into an elegant epicurean experience.

The tasting Room

A TASTE OF THE GOOD LIFE

Isaac Newton once said, “Nature is pleased with simplicity.” A sentiment we sternly concur with and thus have embedded it into our theory of winemaking. A simple approach, with a few simple ingredients - grapes and yeast, blended in a French oak barrel over time - produces a marvellous range of vintages, exuding depth and character.
